GALANIS SPORTS DATA covers their first team sport during the 1986 World Volleyball Championship (4-12 April in Peace & Friendship Stadium). This is followed by the European Cup FINAL FOUR played in Thessaloniki (12-14 February, 1988), and the CSKA-Panini European Championship Final in 1989.
In 1992, GALANIS SPORTS DATA signed a contract with EOPE for the official statistics coverage of the A1 Men's Volleyball Championship.
Co-operation with EOPE, FIVB and CEV extended to all big volleyball events played in Greece during the 90’s and until today: European Championship FINAL FOUR (28-29/2/1992), 13th European Championship for Junior women (1993, Serres – Sidirokastro), Cosmovolley ’94 (Athens, Thessaloniki), Eurovolley ’95 (8-16 September 1995, Athens – Patras), Cup Winners Cup FINAL FOUR (1997, Thessaloniki - 2000, Athens) and all World League National team participations since 1993.
GALANIS SPORTS DATA published “ServiCE-V”, the official monthly newsletter of CEV (European Volleyball Confederation) for a period of 4 years (1st issue in 1993 and last issue in 1996) though the publication will continue via the Internet in 1997.
Finally, GALANIS SPORTS DATA covers all Beach Volleyball competitions since 2000.
